countdown to spring

Check out what's been sprouting up outside my windows over the past week or so . . . needless to say, I was worried when they got covered with snow on Monday night!  It's still pretty cold here (teens last night) - so hopefully these little guys will make it.  I'm pretty sure they're daffodils - since this is my first spring living in my current place, I'm not sure.  I am looking forward to finding out!

Check back for updates on their progress . . . a good reminder that spring is on the way!  Slowly it seems, but surely nonetheless.  It can't come soon enough ;-)
