marriage in the 21st century, part 3

I wasn't really planning another post on this topic, but a friend told me about a cover story in Time magazine from a few weeks back that is a must-read if this discussion is of interest to you: Is There Hope for the American Marriage? by Caitlin Flanagan.

What an encouragement to read something in a publication like Time that calls a spade a spade when it comes to the marriage/divorce culture in America. Not that all of the facts Flanagan shares are uppers - but rather that I was glad to see an essay like this given such a prominent place in print.
