favorite things: Jane Austen

Who doesn't need a Jane Austen fix every so often?!  A friend's blog alerted me recently to the new PBS Masterpiece Classic version of Emma.  It's in mini-series form, so runs about 5 hours in length.  I thought it was excellent!  I enjoyed the Gwyneth Paltrow version from several years ago, but this is even better - most likely because the extended length simply captures more of the story, setting, and characters.
